Psychological Emergency

There is a counselor on-call after office hours for psychological emergencies only. If you are experiencing a psychological emergency, and the office is closed, please call 973-720-2257 and ask to speak to the counselor on call. In the event of a medical emergency on campus, please call 911. You may also go to your nearest emergency room for a medical or psychological emergency.

WPU Fights The Flu!

  • Get a flu shot. We strongly recommend everyone get a seasonal flu vaccination. While it will not prevent COVID-19, influenza is currently widespread in New Jersey. Flu vaccines are available at local pharmacies covered by most medical insurances. Read the NJ Department of Health weekly flu activity reports.

Submitting Immunization Records

Please log-into the STUDENT HEALTH PORTAL

- Access via WPconnect > Student tab > under General Services

-

  • SELF-ENTER your immunization dates into the FORMS section of the Portal

  • Then UPLOAD valid copy of your immunization record -OR- the completed WPU Health (immunization) Form to our office for review

    - Also in the Portal, complete the MENINGITIS SURVEY & RISK QUESTIONNAIRE under the FORMS section

** MenB vaccine (Trumenba/Bexsero) is NOT the same as MenACWY (Menactra/Menveo) and therefore MenB DOES NOT fulfill the state vaccine requirement for dorming. MenB vaccine is highly recommended but not required for university attendance unless indicated by a YES response on the meningitis risk questionnaire.
