Freshman biology applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be accepted directly into the major: 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and 1030 New SAT or 20 composite ACT score Students who meet admissions requirements for the University, but not for biology, will be accepted as undeclared and have the opportunity to change their major to biology after establishing an undergraduate GPA at the University.
