The Student Government Association and the Office of Campus Activities, Service & Leadership recognize clubs and organizations at William Paterson University. The SGA supports many student academic, social, cultural, and sports clubs and media groups. As stated in the Student Government Association Constitution, every student of William Paterson University who has paid the student activity fee shall be a member of the Student Government Association. Students are encouraged to join any active club, and if no club exists to serve their interest, they are encouraged to start a new club on campus. For more information, contact a CASL staff member in the Office of Campus Activities, Service & Leadership or the Student Government Office.

Each semester the Campus Activities, Service & Leadership office hosts a Club Fair. This event provides an opportunity for recognized student organizations and clubs to recruit new members and for students to learn about the many recognized clubs and organizations that they can join. Contact a staff member in the Office of Campus Activities, Service & Leadership or visit the Pioneer Life or the Campus Events Calendar to find out when the next Club Fair is scheduled.
