All students are assigned a faculty advisor and should contact him/her at least once a semester to discuss academic requirements, plans, and progress. Your advisor has your Alternate PIN, which is needed for registration each semester. Students seeking teaching certification also have an advisor in the College of Education, who should be consulted for teaching certification requirements. How do I locate my advisor? Log into your WPConnect account Choose the "Academics" tab Within your "My Academics Channel" - Select "My Advisor" How do I find my Alternate PIN after I have registered? Click on "WPConnect" Type in username and password Click on "Self Service" tab Go to the middle column and choose "Registration Status and Permits" Choose "Current Semester" How do I find out what courses/sections are being offered each semester? Go to your degree evaluation. Next to each class that you still need there is a link to the far right. Click on this and you will see every section of the courses listed for the next semester. For example, right now students can see what the university will offer for the upcoming semesters. Be sure to click on the correct semester in the TERM drop down box. That means students can plan their schedule right now. When you see your advisor in November or March , you'll have a schedule already worked out.
