Information Desk

The Information Desk is located on the first floor of the Student Center and can be contacted at 973-720-2292. The Information Desk is managed by WP students seven days a week. 

A variety of information and services can be obtained from here including campus contact information, event locations, and a campus lost and found. The Information Desk staff is responsible for answering all phone calls and connecting callers with the appropriate person/department.

The Information Desk assistants and the building managers on duty are the first point of contact for most visitors and members of the campus community. While on duty, they represent the office of University Commons Operations and have the responsibility to make decisions and enforce University Commons guidelines and procedures.

Lost and Found - Lost and found items such as wallets, credit cards, driver’s licenses, etc. that are received are stored in a safe location until the owner retrieves them. A log is kept for all items turned in at the Information Desk.  Twice a semester, lost and found items are delivered to Campus Police.

The University Commons Operations team is committed to hosting and helping you execute events in the building. Should you want to host an event that falls outside of our operating hours, we ask that you provide at least two weeks notice so that we can secure appropriate staffing for your event.  All requests for an extension of hours should be submitted with your 25Live room request. Note: student organizations are not charged a fee for extension of hours.
